Good to see bright colors on counters for Spring Summer 2014

 I am so happy about the currant influx of color onto make-up stands this summer. I don't know what I am more excited about - colorful eyeshadows or lipsticks!

It started with the popularity of Sugarpill cosmetics. Which are leading the way with highly pigmented eyeshadows and vegan morals. It continued with the release of the Electric Palette from Urban Decay and is now echoed in the MAC collection called Playland.

 I could not be more excited about all of it.

We have been snowed under with all the Naked palettes and the nude smokey eye look has reigned supreme for far too long. I am so excited about the new gear. I have bought the Hi Def Cyan pigment from the Playland collection already for use with so much its not even funny and I own each of those chromographic pencils already from collecting them over the years. LOVE IT.

I do still want the electric palette but the current state of my kit means I am on a make-up buying ban for a bit until I use what I have! I cannot get through all of it immediately! I do seem to be collecting Hi Def Cyan products from MAC though as I have the pencil, the pigment, the lip mix, the eyeshadow, the face paint.....you get the idea.

but yeah, love the color!
