Varun Tej is currently busy in the shoot of his upcoming movie Valmiki, which is progressing at the brisk pace. The shoot of Valmiki was started a couple of months back but the project is being let down by a few setbacks every now and then. Recently it was heard that Pooja Hegde walked out from the project due to remuneration issue and now once again Valmiki received a huge shock. According to the latest update, sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad has also walked out from this project Valmiki and the makers have roped another music composer Mickey J Meyer.
Finally Mickey J Meyer has replaced Devi Sri Prasad in this upcoming film Valmiki, the remake of Jigarthanda. Apparently, both the music directors Harish Shankar and Devi Sri Prasad had creative differences which ultimately resulted in the exit of DSP.
Earlier both Devi Sri Prasad and Harish Shankar have worked together for few movies like Gabbar Singh and DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham.
Atharva Murali will be seen playing crucial role in upcoming film Valmiki starring Varun Tej and it marks his debut in Telugu cinema. Valmiki is being produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Plus banner. Ayananka Bose is the cinematographer.
Mickey J Meyer has also scored the music of Samantha and Naga Shaurya starrer upcoming movie Oh Baby, which is gearing up for grand release during World cup.
